Intern – Operational Risk (1)

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Identification, assessment, and treatment of Operational risks. 
  • Execution of Operational Risk processes to ensure compliance with set policies, standards, procedures, and risk appetite.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Initiative - 10%

Support in the development of Operational risk management reports

Operational Controls - 90%

  • Coordinate bank wide procedure manuals development and signoff.
  • Update and monitor the incidents management platform and trend analytics.
  • Collate and review the RCSA quality and reporting.
  • Maintain the IT Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA). 
  • Assist in the bank wide Vendor Risk Management that include mapping and reporting. 
  • Assist in the improvement of the Operational Risk tools to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 

Knowledge; Skills and Experience required for this Role 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or a related field.
  • Risk related certification(s) will be an added advantage.
