Which currency will I use while sending money through PesaLink?

PesaLink will facilitate Funds transfer from KES to KES only. Customers can still send or withdraw funds from a foreign currency account. The sender or receiving bank systems will instantly convert the amount accordingly.

Will I be charged to receive money on PesaLink?

No. Clients will not be charged to receive funds on PesaLink.

Can I send money to someone who does not have a bank account?

No. PesaLink does not provide funds transfer or withdrawal to anyone without a bank account.

If I am an SBM Bank Kenya Diaspora customer, can I use Pesalink to send money?

Yes. PesaLink will facilitate funds transfer to local banks.

What are the PesaLink charges?

I have sent money through Pesalink on Mfukoni but the funds have not been received?

In the event, the transaction takes longer, contact the SBM Contact Centre for assistance. There are instances that Mfukoni transactions take some time to process. Please wait a few minutes, and incase the transfer is not received, call the SBM Contact Centre for assistance.

Someone has sent me funds to SBM Bank through Pesalink but the funds have not reflected in my account?

In the event the transaction is not credited promptly, call the SBM Bank Contact Centre for assistance.
