How do I access the SPS service?

Complete the SPS application form and submit it to any of the SBM Bank branches. Once your application is received we will process your request. You must have an existing account before using SPS.

How do I create my own password that is easy to remember?

After you login with your assigned temporary password for the first time, you select Profile option and change your password. New password should be a minimum of 8 characters in length and contain a capital letter, a number and a special character.

 

 

What happens if I forget my password?

Click on ‘Forgot your password’ on the system’s homepage and a reset prompt will be sent to your registered Email.

What is Western Union?

Western Union is a global money transfer with a global footprint in over 190 countries.

What services will Western Union and SBM Bank offer?

Clients will get to;

  • Send money globally across all our branch networks.
  • Receive money over the counter across our branch network.

Can I receive money on behalf on someone/as a third party?

No, only the intended recipients can receive money.

Can I pay for goods and services through Western Union?

No, Western Union services are not meant to be used for any business transactions.

Can I send or receive money from sanctioned countries?

Western Union and SBM bank do not process any transactions to and from countries in the sanction list.

Does SBM Bank offer Western Union services to external clients?

Yes. External/walk in clients can access Western Union services as long as they meet the necessary terms and conditions. This also serves an opportunity for cross-selling other bank products.
